Before we get to Singapore we are going to Shanghai. We will be spending some time there to visit the members of the church. There is a church planting happening right now and we get to be a part of it! I'm very excited to go there and see the different culture. Only a few things holding us back... we don't have the tickets nor a visa. Hopefully we will be able to secure those soon.

Singapore, here I come!!!
This summer my buddy Dean and I are going to spend six weeks with the Woodlands Church of Christ. We've been wanting to spend this amount of time there since our first trip three years ago. We have the money for the tickets and some money for our trip, but we have been in need of more money to sustain us for the time there. Now we have been approved to write a letter and have the elders at our church read it to the congregation for individual contributions. Everything seems to be coming together.

There is a Season
One of my favorite times of the year is the Christmas/New Year's holidays. These times are filled with visiting family, hanging out with friends, and taking in the holiday cheer. Around the Christmas holiday people are much nicer to one another. One of the other best parts of the Christmas holiday is getting to watch Christmas movies! "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear" - Elf. The New Year's holiday is another favorite of mine. Standing outside and when it hits midnight yelling "Happy New Year", my family and I always get a response back from somewhere in the neighborhood. Then there is the resolution part. Many people like to do big time resolutions such as no soda or no chocolate and it is always fun hear what they are going to do and check up on them throughout the year. These are a few things that I like about the "Holiday Season"!!!

Check Out Poker DIY!!!
I just discovered Poker DIY and it’s going to come in very handy for me when I hit up my friends for all their money. I wasn’t too sure how to play poker before, but this website not only taught me, but it helped make me into a champ. Poker DIY introduced me to live games and their services are free. With the poker craze among all the college kids now when I play I’m a sure winner.
